Tiny Houses
Students explored tiny homes and the reasons people would choose to live in a tiny home. They were given a list of requirements that their tiny homes must contain and were challenged with limited supplies. They must only use index cards, balsa wood, clear plastic sheets, and one small circuit light. When the students complete building their tiny homes, they must create a commercial showcasing their home to an intended community. Examples: to house homeless veterans, disaster relief or travel. This project was designed to tie into their social studies unit on communities. I can not wait to see their final products!
