Parachutes

Students were asked the question "Do you think that shape or materials will affect how long a parachute stays in the air before touching the ground?" After doing some guided research on how parachutes work and air resistance students were tasked with creating a parachute that would last a minimum of 3 seconds before touching the ground. The students’ favorite part about this challenge was giving a whole range of materials to choose from!
