Volcanoes

As a culmination to a unit about volcanoes, students created their own volcanoes. They were allowed to decide how much backing soda and jello to use for their experiment and we kept the vinegar at the control of 6 ounces for everyone. When the experiments were over we went back and reflected on how high their eruption was and compared the results to everyone else's, so that we could come up with what was "the best formula".
