Recycled Sleeping Mats 

 In an effort to contribute to the homeless population in our neighborhood we wove sleeping mats out of plastic grocery bags. Then we donated them to be distributed to the homeless. The students were empowered to be able to donate something that they created themselves. They learned a valuable lesson that sometimes all you have to donate is your time to make a difference.

ICU Baby Bags

We teamed up with the organization ICU Baby to fill bags to be distributed to families in the NICU. 

Taking School Supplies Overseas

One of the most rewarding experiences I have ever had was being able to provide school and recess equipment to a center for abused and vulnerable children in South Africa. With the help of fundraising done by the student council, I was able to provide supplies for 300 children.
